Explosion Walk AI Photo Requirements: Which Photo Works Best
What photo to upload for the Explosion Walk AI video: one person or one pet, JPG/PNG/WebP up to 10MB, face clearly visible. Full body vs selfie, what gets rejected, and the free photo check.
Last updated: 2026-10-28
Short answer: Upload one photo of one person or one pet: JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10MB, facing the camera with the face clearly visible and well lit. Full-body photos keep your whole outfit; half-body photos and arm's-length selfies work too. People must be 18 or older and in the photo with their permission. A free photo check runs after upload, before you pay.
Requirements at a glance
- Number of photos: 1
- Subjects in the photo: 1 person or 1 pet
- File type: JPG, PNG or WebP
- File size: up to 10MB
- Age: 18 or older
- Permission: your own photo, or someone who agreed
- Not allowed: minors, public figures, anyone who has not agreed, explicit content
- Not supported: group photos, a person together with a pet
Full body, half body or selfie?
- Full body: keeps your whole outfit, shoes included. Best match for the walk.
- Half body: works; the AI fills in the clothes and shoes the photo doesn't show.
- Arm's-length selfie: works; the AI fills in the rest of your outfit.
- Face-only close-up: avoid it; too little of you for the AI to work with.
You walk away in the clothes from your photo. A jacket reads as action hero, but everyday clothes work too.
Tips for a better likeness
- Face the camera, eyes visible: no sunglasses that hide the eyes, no hand over the face.
- Use a sharp, well-lit photo: no heavy filters, no very dark or blurry shots.
- Expect a small face at the start: the video opens on a wide shot of the highway, and your face gets clearer as you walk toward the camera and ends in a close-up.
What the free photo check does
Right after upload, before payment, the photo check looks at your photo and:
- Stops photos with no person or pet, more than one person or animal, or someone who looks under 18.
- Warns you when the face is hidden or not facing the camera, or the photo is blurry or dark. You can still continue.
After that, the AI provider runs its own safety check and occasionally rejects a photo. If a video can't be made, the credits go back to your account automatically.
Uploading from your phone
On a computer, you can scan a QR code and send a photo from your phone straight to the generator. The code works for 15 minutes and for one photo, and it only lets your phone send a photo to that generator window. Opened the site inside TikTok or Instagram? Photo upload can fail in the in-app browser: tap ยทยทยท and choose Open in browser.

FAQ
What photo do I need for the Explosion Walk AI?
One photo of one person or one pet, facing the camera, face clearly visible and well lit. JPG, PNG or WebP up to 10MB.
How many photos do I need to upload?
One.
Can I use a selfie?
Yes. Arm's-length selfies and half-body photos work; the AI fills in the clothes the photo doesn't show. A full-body photo keeps your whole outfit.
Can I use a group photo or a photo of a friend?
Group photos are not supported: one person or one pet per photo. A friend's photo is fine only if they are 18 or older and agreed. Minors and public figures are not allowed.
Why was my photo rejected?
The free photo check stops photos with no person or pet, more than one subject, or someone who looks under 18. The AI provider's safety check occasionally rejects a photo too. Try a clear, front-facing, well-lit photo of one person; credits for a video that can't be made are refunded automatically.
